Diamonds Certificates

 

For every diamond purchased from our online boutique  greater than 0.30ct , Mazal Diamond provides a certificate issued either by the Gemological Institute of America "GIA", the Diamond High Council "HRD" or International Gemological Institute "IGI". A certificate tells you the diamond's exact measurements and weight, as well as the details of its cut and quality. It precisely points out all the individual characteristics of the stone. They also serve as proof of the diamond's identity and value.  A certificate is not the same as an appraisal.

Jewelry Guarantees

Mazal Diamond issues a Guarantee for every item purchased.

Apart from any other jeweler, Mazal Diamond certifies and guarantees the quality of any diamond we use.

Every piece of jewelry is delivered with a certificate issued by an independent Graduated Gemologist, testifying to the color and clarity of the diamonds set in the purchased jewel, both to guarantee our customers of an impartial and exact examination and to provide an internationally recognized value.

Such a guarantee testifies the quality of all diamonds smaller than 0.30 cts (see above) which cannot be certified otherwise.  

 

 

Mazal Appraisals

 

 

A Mazal Diamond Appraisal is a document that includes a detailed description of the item purchased (a photograph, cut, color, carat weight, and clarity of diamonds, weight of precious metal, dimensions…), while also stating the retail  value of that item.

 

The appraisal will give your Insurance Company all the necessary information so that in the unfortunate event of a loss, theft, or damage, you will have the best chances of receiving an accurate replacement value. Furthermore, based on this appraisal, your Insurance Company will be able to calculate the coverage rate for your diamond or piece of jewelry.

Mazal Diamond issues a Quality Certificate on every jewelry piece which is not to be considered as an Appraisal. Therefore the Mazal Diamond Appraisals will be issued (free of any charge) upon request. Please also note that no appraisals can be issued after your purchase has been delivered.
